Affiliate terms
Effective 8 October 2026 · Last updated 8 October 2026
These terms (version 2026-10-08) apply between you and Md Towhid Khan, trading as Slyve Studio ("we", "us"), when you take part in the Slyve Studio affiliate programme. They add to the terms of use and the privacy policy.
1. Joining
You need a Slyve account and must be at least 18. You apply on your affiliate page and accept these terms there. We approve or decline every application by hand and may decline without giving a reason. You give us your legal name, country and payout details, and keep them current.
2. Your link and the referral window
Your link is any slyve.studio address with ?ref= and your code. When a visitor opens it, the code is applied to the Polar checkout links on that visit without storing it in their browser. If they buy using a tagged link, the sale is credited to you. A later visit must use your link again; if a buyer opens another affiliate’s link, that link counts. A sale we cannot connect to your link is not credited, and we do not credit sales by hand.
3. Commission
You earn 20% of the amount the buyer paid for their first licence, after discounts and before tax and Polar’s fees, in US dollars. Add-ons and later purchases by the same buyer earn nothing unless we tell you otherwise in writing. The rate that applies to a sale is the rate on your account when the sale is made.
4. Hold, refunds and payment
- Each commission is held for 60 days after the sale. A sale refunded, charged back or disputed in that time earns nothing.
- A sale refunded or charged back after we paid you is deducted from your next payout; if there is no payout to deduct it from, repay us within 30 days of our request.
- We pay once a month, by the 15th, for commissions whose hold ended in the month before, when your balance is at least $50. A smaller balance carries over.
- We pay by PayPal or Wise to the details you gave us, in US dollars. Fees your provider charges you are yours. Payouts are made by hand; a delay of up to 15 days is not a breach.
- We may hold a payout for up to 60 days while checking sales that appear to breach section 5, and will tell you when we do.
- We cannot pay a country, person or account where PayPal, Wise or sanctions law prevents payment.
5. What you may not do
- Earn commission on your own purchases, or on purchases by your own accounts or e-mail addresses.
- Bid on "Slyve", "Slyve Studio" or similar words, or misspellings of them, in search or social ads, or use them in domain names or ad copy that looks like ours.
- Post your link on coupon, deal, cashback or voucher sites, or offer money, rewards or discounts for clicking or buying.
- Use spam, misleading claims, fake reviews, pop-ups, cookie stuffing, or anything that sets your code without the visitor choosing to open your link.
- Pretend to be us or to speak for us.
Commissions earned in breach of this section are void, and we may suspend or close your affiliate account. Describe Slyve Studio using claims currently on slyve.studio. Do not promise features, dates, prices, discounts or refunds that are absent there, or imply we endorse your content. You may use our name and logo only in unmodified form from the assets we provide, and only while you participate in the programme.
6. Disclosure
Wherever you share your link, disclose clearly and close to it that you earn a commission if people buy. In a post, put this before or beside the link (for example “affiliate link: I earn a commission”); in a video or podcast, say or show it where you give the link, not only in the description; on your site, place it on the page with the link, not only in a footer. Hashtags such as #ad work only where the audience will see them. Follow advertising rules where you and your audience live, including the FTC Endorsement Guides in the US and ASA CAP Code in the UK.
7. Independent contractor and taxes
You are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or partner. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Commissions are stated net of any VAT or GST you must charge. If registered, send a valid invoice before payout. We may ask for a W-8, W-9 or local equivalent, or other information tax and payment rules require, before we pay.
8. Buyers' data
You see totals and amounts only. We never share buyers' names, e-mail addresses or other details with you.
9. Ending and changes
You can leave at any time by writing to us. We can end the programme or your participation with 30 days' notice, or at once for a breach of section 5. Commissions earned before the end are paid under these terms, except held commissions are forfeited if we end your participation for a breach of section 5. When your participation ends, we pay what you have earned once its hold ends, even if it is below the minimum. We may change these terms or the rate with 30 days' notice by e-mail; sales made before a change keep the terms and rate that applied to them.
10. Liability and law
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commissions owed to you. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction, as in the terms of use.
