Requirements
What you need.
- A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later).
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
- Permission to record the screen. A microphone and a camera are optional.
- An iPhone or iPad and a USB cable if you want to record a device (experimental).
Intel Macs are not supported yet.
Install
Four steps.
- Open the downloaded
.dmgand drag Slyve Studio to Applications. - Open Slyve Studio from Applications.
- When macOS asks, allow Screen Recording in System Settings › Privacy & Security, then reopen the app. Allow the microphone and camera only if you want them.
- Pick a display, a window or an area and press record.
Updates
Staying up to date.
Slyve Studio checks for new versions from Settings (Check for updates). Every release is listed in the changelog.
The update feed is public: dl.slyve.studio/appcast/beta.json.
