Your licence and Macs

How it works

A Slyve Studio licence is a one-time purchase. It includes every update, for life. There is no subscription.

Each licence is for a number of Macs used at the same time: 2, 5 or 10. For more than 10, write to us. See Pricing.

The trial

Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with every feature. Exports made during the trial carry a small “Made with Slyve Studio” mark. When the trial ends, Slyve stops until you buy a licence or enter a licence key. Your projects stay on your Mac.

Activate

After you buy, you get a licence key by e-mail. It looks like SLYVE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. In Slyve, under Have a licence key?, paste it and choose Activate.

Move to a new Mac

If your licence is already active on all its Macs, Slyve says so on the new Mac. Choose Move licence here. The Mac you replace stops being licensed.

To free a Mac first, choose Deactivate this Mac on it.

Add Macs

Need more Macs? Open your account and choose Add Macs on your licence.

Offline

A paid licence keeps working offline for up to 30 days between checks. Connect once in a while and it renews by itself.

What it costs, in the app

Settings › Account and the first-run plan page say it plainly: pay once, lifetime updates, no renewal. During the trial they also say what it includes. Settings › General › Updates lists the last three releases with their dates.
