Slyve Studio Beta

Slides and screenshot movies

Make a video from screenshots or add reusable timed slides to a story.

Make a video from screenshots

Select screenshots in the Library with ⌘-click or ⇧-click, then choose Create video. Pick a 3 or 5 second hold for each screenshot, with optional gentle pan and zoom. Slyve uses their current edits, keeps the order shown in the Library and makes each screenshot a separate take. Crossfades join them. You can reorder or trim the takes, change transitions, add zooms, record a voice-over in Audio, and export the result as a normal video project.

Add a standalone slide

Choose Title card in the Library to start a story with a slide. In an open video, open Takes and choose Insert slide to place one after the take under the playhead. Use a saved personal template, or start with Title card with room for narration or Title card, silent. A slide has its own duration and background; it does not hold a frame from a recording. Move it earlier with the take controls to make an opening slide.

Select the slide’s title, client and date elements to edit their words. Those edits support Undo. Choose Save slide as template in Takes to reuse the current words and duration in later projects. The template stays on this Mac; inserted slides carry their own editable words and media when you share a project. Title cards made with room for narration show Narrate slide in Takes; Audio › Voice-over remains available throughout the movie.
